BRITAIN
Prince Andrew, Duke of York, will visit Thailand from tomorrow until Sept 5 in his capacity as UK Special Representative for International Trade and Investment. During his stay, Prince Andrew will pay his respects to the late HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, and have audiences with His Majesty the King and HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Prince Andrew will also meet Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej, Deputy Prime Ministers Sahas Banditkul and Surapong Suebwonglee, and the ministers of foreign affairs and energy.
He will visit Harrow International School, Cadbury Adams' new plant at Lad Krabang and the British Council, and will attend a dinner hosted by Rolls-Royce, for Thai Airways International.
He will also meet senior British and Thai business people, including members of the 670-strong British Chamber of Commerce Thailand, and young Thai leaders
