Interface Modernform Company Limited
Interface is the world’s largest commercial carpet manufacturer, with a powerful global network of companies operating in 110 countries. Interface Modernform Company Limited is the company's Thailand-based regional manufacturing hub. Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate
Established in 1995 at Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate as a joint venture between Interface Overseas Holding, Inc. and Modernform Group Public Company Limited, Interface Modernform Company Limited maintains a state-of-the-art facility, employs more than 120 people, and is renowned throughout the region for its high-quality carpet tiles. Interface Modernform, from its state-of-the-art facility in Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate, produces an extensive range of modular flooring products for use in offices, schools, shops, hospitals, convention centres and even airports. The company combines innovative designs with advanced manufacturing processes and materials, with the goal of delivering to the customer beautiful products that perform to the highest standards. Aside from producing value-for-money products with innovative designs for the company’s growing list of customers, Interface Modernform is also strongly committed to launching and manufacturing ever more sustainable products.
"In line with our company-wide sustainability drive, we are constantly looking at ways to reduce energy usage and waste. In this way, we are improving our profitability and becoming a more sustainable business,” says the company's Unit Director Robin Wilson. The results are impressive. In the past three years, the company has increased production by over 70%, whilst saving over US$ 180,000 and reducing waste by 20%. Innovative designs, value-for-money
The global Interface corporation manufactures and sells modular and broadloom carpets, interior furnishing fabrics, access flooring systems and specialty chemicals. The company’s product range has changed over the years, reflecting in particular the use of more hi-tech processes and the company’s emphasis on the environment and sustainability. Challenges faced in the development of current and future products include the aim to use ever more renewable materials, create designs for easy recyclability, and manufacture products using the “less is more” approach, which means using less material but delivering more value to the customer. The Interface mission
“Interface will become the first name in commercial and institutional interiors worldwide through its commitment to people, process, product, places and profits.” This is the mission of the global Interface corporation, where people are accorded respect and dignity, where the quality and engineering of the product and process are continually being developed, where the places where business is carried out are honoured, and where profits continue to be made.
