Jotun Powder Coatings (Thailand) Ltd. was established in 1978 under the name CORRO-COAT (Thailand) Ltd. in Samut Prakan. The company was the first powder coating producer in the country.

In 1996, Jotun decided to relocate its manufacturing unit to Chon Buri and built the most modern and sophisticated powder coating factory in the world. Jotun Powder Coatings (Thailand) Ltd. is today the proud regional headquarters of Southeast Asia. With an annual production capacity of 8,000 tonnes, the company manufactures powder coatings of world-recognised standards, guaranteeing the same level of product quality and integrated expertise worldwide.

Excellent technical support, intensive research, a computerised ICT system, and a value-added service enable Jotun Powder Coatings (Thailand) Ltd. to manufacture products that are tailored to meet all customers' needs – aiming to exceed expectations in all aspects as well as focus on providing best value for money. In the export area, Jotun plans for more expansion in large-scale industry. Environmentally friendly products

Jotun Powder Coatings (Thailand) Ltd. produces powder coatings that clearly represent an environmentally friendly alternative – both in production processes and application techniques. Powder coatings are used in a wide range of products, such as office furniture, home appliances, air-conditioners, computers, oil and gas pipelines, and reinforced concrete bars.

The characteristics of powder coatings are dry, durable and solvent-free. They are easily applied to the products via electrostatic spray gun before being "cured" in the oven. The applied coatings attached themselves nearly 100 per cent to the object, thus releasing zero per cent Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), or solvent into
the air.
