Mr. Deepak Mittal - Group Executive President and Director

Texlan: the most versatile and superior quality acrylic fibre
Texlan is produced from Thai Acrylic Fibre’s state-of-the-art plant at Saraburi, just 110 km north of Bangkok. The plant houses highly sophisticated machinery, equipment and computer technology, most of which are sourced from Japan, Europe and the U.S.A. The combination of cutting-edge technology, the TQM system and the employees’ commitment to total customer satisfaction, makes Texlan a highly sought-after product – a first-choice product, in fact, on both the national and international markets.

Bearing the Texlan label is a wide range of acrylic staple fibre and tow products, ranging from 0.8 to 15.0 denier, with a staple length of 28 mm to 150 mm. Available in lustre bright to full dull, products can be supplied with a shrinkage as low as 2% (regular fibre), and as high as 40% (super high shrinkage). Texlan is suitable for both commodity and specialty products.

Thai Acrylic Fibre started its operations in 1989 with a production capacity of 14,000 MT of acrylic fibre per year, and currently produces as much as 57,000 MT annually, made possible by in-house innovations and expansion, and a phenomenal growth of more than 400% within a short span of nine years. A major portion of this is exported to several Asian countries, Africa, Australia and Europe.

Thai Acrylic Fibre is regarded as one of the most modern plants in the world and as a benchmark plant for acrylic fibre. Its Texlan Fibre is regarded as one of the top-quality acrylic fibres.

To maintain its leading position, Thai Acrylic will shortly be expanding its production capacity to 80,000 MT per year.
