THASCO Chemical Co., Ltd. was established with promotional privileges from the Board of Investment in 1964, as a joint venture between a group of Thai entrepreneurs and Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. of Japan, to manufacture essential chemicals for the production of various downstream products.

The company began its operations with the manufacture of sodium hydroxide at its first factory in 1966. Since then, the company has continually sought increasingly advanced technology to achieve higher quality products and minimal environmental impact.

THASCO’s high-quality products are not only widely accepted on the local market, a factor helped by its seal from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), Ministry of Industry, but are also well-recognised on the international market.
