TOA Chemical Industries Limited was established in 1983, with an aim to supply synthetic polymer to water and oil-based paint industries. It is involved in the manufacture of synthetic resins for coatings, adhesives and plastics, amongst others.

From the production line, resins are manufactured via state-of-the-art production technology for TOA, Thailand’s leading paint producer and TOA Chemical Industries Ltd.’s sister company. The continuous supply of these locally produced resins, a key ingredient in paint production, has reduced TOA’s reliance on imports, while enabling it to maintain maximum production efficiency.

Product range

Resins are not only a key ingredient in paint production, but also in many emerging Thai industries. To capture the increasing demand, TOA Chemical Industries Ltd. produces a wide range of resins, which are necessary for production in the following backbone industries:
* Alkyd and Acrylic resin applications: air dry enamels, lacquers, baking enamels
* Emulsion resin applications: paints, adhesives, textile printing and finishing
* Polyurethane resin applications: wood coatings
* ED resin applications: anodic electrodeposited coatings, cathodic electrodeposited coatings
* Unsaturated polyester resin applications: casting, clear casting, artificial marble, buttons, wood lamination, fibreglass reinforced plastics, body filler
