Vinythai Public Company Limited

The first PVC resin and Caustic Soda integrated producer in Thailand, Vinythai Public Company Limited was established on 27 December 1988 as a joint venture between Solvay S.A. of Belgium and the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand.

The company commenced commercial activities in 1992 at its Map Ta Phut site, which comprises two Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) plants (emulsion and suspension resins). Subsequently, in 1996, three more plants were added to manufacture Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) and Membrane Chlor-Alkali (MCA).

Today, Vinythai is a leading manufacturer, distributor and exporter of cost-effective Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resins, Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), Membrane Chlor-Alkali (MCA), Chlorine, Caustic Soda and related products .
