Traditionally, the Royal Ploughing Ceremony marks the beginning of the rainy season. To people’s joy, this year the rain started a bit earlier. Along with the rain, however, comes a common infectious disease, the flu. The Health Ministry through the Department of Disease Control has issued a warning against this seasonal infection. This Post Today’s report has some details.

พฤษภาคม-มิถุนายน มักพบการระบาดของโรคไข้หวัดใหญ่ได้ง่าย ซึ่งไข้หวัดใหญ่พบได้ทุกเพศ
ทุกวัย ไข้หวัดใหญ่เกิดจากเชื้ออินฟลูเอนซาไวรัส ติดต่อโดยการไอ จาม หรือ หายใจรดกัน
มีระยะฟักตัว1-4 วัน โดยจะแสดงอาการภายใน 1-4 วัน หลังการรับเชื้อ

อาการของไข้หวัดใหญ่มักเกิดขึ้นทันทีทันใด มีอาการไข้สูง หนาวๆ ร้อนๆ ปวดเมื่อยตาม
กล้ามเนื้อปวดศีรษะ อ่อนเพลีย เบื่ออาหาร ขมในคอ อาจมีอาการเจ็บคอ คัดจมูก ไอแห้งๆ
