Two days from today is the full moon night of the 11th lunar month this year. You still have time to get to watch the annual Naga fireball phenomenon along the 300-kilometres bank of the Mekhong River in some districts of Nong Khai Province. However, the show last year was bit disappointing as Thairath excerpt reports.

จากปรากฏการณ์อัศจรรย์พันลึกเหนือ ลำน้ำโขงในพื้นที่ จ.หนองคาย กรณี "บั้งไฟพญานาค"
หรือลูกไฟพุ่งทะยานขึ้นเหนือลำน้ำโขง ในคืนวันที่ 10 ต.ค.ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งเป็นวันออกพรรษา
ท่ามกลางสายตาของนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศหลายหมื่นคน ขณะเดียวกัน
นักวิชาการกระทรวงวิทยาศาสตร์ฯ ได้ตั้งทีมพิสูจน์ค้นหาความจริงถึงปรากฏการณ์ เหนือธรรมชาติ
ครั้งนี้ด้วยนั้น

โดยผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานจาก จ.หนองคาย ว่า เมื่อเวลา 17.00 น. วันที่ 11 ต.ค. ซึ่งเป็นวันที่สองของ
วันออกพรรษา ประชาชนหลายหมื่นคนยังเฝ้ารอชมบั้งไฟพญานาคกันอย่างต่อเนื่องแม้ว่า
คืนวันออกพรรษาได้ผ่านพ้นไป แต่หลายคนยังหวังว่าต้องมี "บั้งไฟพญานาค" พุ่งขึ้นมาเหนือ
ลำน้ำโขงอีกในคืนหลังวันออกพรรษา และเชื่อกันว่าจำนวนลูกไฟต้องมีมากกว่าวันแรก ขณะที่
บรรดานักท่องเที่ยวยังคงปักหลักนั่งเฝ้าชมปรากฏการณ์เหนือการพิสูจน์ครั้งนี้อย่างล้นหลาม
