During his official visit to Italy and Sweden from 21-25 this month, Mr Thaksin Shinawatra was to be presented with the ‘International Forgiveness Award 2004’ by the Italian government. He is the fourth recipient of the award that is given to a person with a strong determination in tackling poverty. This Post Today excerpt has more details.

การช่วยเหลือผู้ยากไร้ และเป็นคนที่ 4 ที่ได้รับรางวัลนี้ เหตุที่ได้รับเลือกให้ได้รับรางวัลดังกล่าว
ส่วนหนึ่งเป็นเพราะรัฐบาลนี้มีนโยบายช่วยเหลือคนยากจน เช่น ทำโครงการกองทุนหมู่บ้าน
